We have sent a ShelterBox Response Team to Brazil to further assess the situation. They arrived on Wednesday, and an hour ago I had confirmation from them that they are receiving support from the Civil Defence and local authorities to carry out an assessment of Guidoval.

This town ( GUIDOVAL) has been identified as the worst affected by the recent flooding and our team are working hard to complete their assessment as quickly as possible.

Once they have managed to carry out a full recognisance of the area they will submit their findings to us and we will make a decision on the best way to move forward.

Thank you again for all the information you have been providing us and our thoughts go out to you, your family and friends who have been affected by this flooding. Our team on the ground are highly trained and very experienced in responding to flooding in this part of the world.

Esta cidade (Guidoval) tem sido identificada como a mais afetada pelas inundações recentes e nossa equipe estão trabalhando duro para completar a sua avaliação o mais rápido possível.

Uma vez que eles conseguiram realizar um recognisance total da área que apresentarão as suas descobertas para nós e vamos tomar uma decisão sobre a melhor maneira de avançar.

Obrigado novamente por todas as informações que têm vindo a fornecer-nos e os nossos pensamentos vão para você, sua família e amigos que foram afetados por esta inundação. Nossa equipe no terreno são altamente treinados e muito experientes na resposta às inundações nesta parte do mundo.
